This envelope measures 6½ inches wide by 3⅝ inches tall and fits most personal checks or cash. The #9 remittance envelope measures 8⅞ inches wide by 3⅞ inches tall. This larger remittance envelope provides room for business checks, larger forms, and more printed information. Both envelope sizes fit inside a standard #10 mailing envelope.
