Printing Guidelines

Want your custom envelopes to look their best? Here are a few important tips and recommendations to ensure high-quality results.

Artwork Makes All the Difference

Start with high-quality artwork like vector PDFs, Adobe Illustrator files, or images at least 300 DPI. Avoid JPGs or low-res files when possible. Use CMYK color mode and convert fonts to outlines. If you're unsure, our team can help.

Help with Artwork

Need help preparing your file? Our design team offers complimentary artwork reviews and affordable assistance to ensure your print file is perfect. We're happy to guide you before your order is finalized.

Proofs

You’ll receive a free PDF proof to review and approve. Final print colors may vary slightly from screen colors. For high-volume jobs, printed proofs are also available upon request.

Ink Colors

Our pricing is based on the number of ink colors in your job. PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors are preferred. You can print in 1-color, 2-color, or full-color based on your needs.

Choosing the Right Envelope

Bright and pastel envelopes make designs pop, but be mindful of ink visibility. Dark-colored envelopes may require white ink or foil printing. We’ll help guide you based on your design.

Digital vs Offset

Digital printing is ideal for short runs. Offset printing is best for large quantities and offers excellent ink consistency. Your order method will depend on quantity and design complexity.
