    What size envelope will work for you? The most popular size is a #10, which is 9 1/2 x 4 1/8. This is considered a standard envelope and fits an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, folded in thirds. A business letter, invoice, statement, or other document will fit easily in this size. Mailing checks or statements? Then you probably need a #8 5/8 or #9 security envelope. Slightly smaller than your standard business envelope these help hold a check in place. Including your custom printed security envelopes with an invoice for customer payments and need a return security envelope? Choose a #6 3/4 to fit a personal check. If you're sending thick documents choose a 9x12 security envelope.

    Personalized Secure Envelopes with Windows

    If you're using envelopes to mail an item with a pre-printed address, like a check, letter, or invoice, then choose privacy envelopes with a window. This opening will show the address through the envelope, while the plastic film will protect the address and item inside. Security window envelopes are available with several different size windows. Choose the window size and location that works best for your checks, letters, or invoices. The most popular security window envelope is the #10 size with a standard window size.

    Custom Self Seal and Simple Seal Privacy Envelopes

    Which envelope sealing option is right for you? Custom printed security envelopes are offered with three different options. Choose from a standard gum seal (requires moisture to seal) for the lowest cost option. Or select from two self seal options to save time and avoid the mess. Peel and Seal security envelopes have a peel off strip. Pull back to reveal glue, press and close to seal. Simple Seal or Flip & Seal privacy envelopes do not have a strip. You simply lift up the bottom flap, and close the top flap, pressing to seal the envelopes.
